    Application of displacement sensor in coater


    Glue coater is a kind of machine for coating glue on the surface of paper, film and other materials. Firstly, the material to be processed is passed through the glue groove, and the thickness of the glue layer is controlled by the high-precision pinch roller, and then the adhesive layer is firmly coated on the surface of the material after drying, which is widely used in the printing industry. The displacement sensor controls the cylinder displacement of the gap between the scraper and the back roller, and forms a complete set of automatic control system with PLC.

    When the glue coater works, the air cylinder descends to drive the scraper down, and when cleaning the back roll, the cylinder rises to drive the scraper up. Due to some changes of cylinder pressure in actual work, the gap between scraper and back roller will change, which will affect the thickness of equipment coating glue.

    There are two specifications of semi-automatic and automatic glue coater. The gap of pinch roller needs to be adjusted manually, which has great influence on human factors and low control precision. The automatic glue coating machine detects the roller gap by displacement sensor, and the measured value is fed back to the PLC control system in real time, and then fed back to the servo system by the PLC. The servo system ensures the precision of the gap adjustment, which is not affected by cylinder pressure or other factors of Mechanical equipment.

    Due to the linear analog output, the sensor has high detection accuracy, stability and anti-interference performance, and has high sensitivity to the object to be detected. It is mostly used in the measurement and control system of glue coating machine, which greatly improves the quality and efficiency of production products.
